Tallorcen filius Enfret iiij. annis regnavit.	Talorcen son of Enfret reigned 4 years.	(Fought against Dál Riata in 654, died 657. Eanfrith was King of Bernicia 632-3 CE)
Gartnait filius Donnel vj. annis regnavit et dimidium.	Gartnait the son of Donnel ruled for 6 and a half years.	(died 663 CE)

Bredei filius Bili xxi. annis regnavit.	Bredei son of Bili reigned 21 years	(He attacked the Orkneys in 682. Defeated Ecgfrith of Northumbria at Nechtanesmere (near Forfar) on 20th May 685. Beli is said to have been the king of Strathclyde. Brude died in 693.)

Necthon filius Derelei xv. annis regnavit.	Nechtan son of Derelei reigned 15 years	(Other lists give a reign length of 18 years, which is a better fit. Abdicated to enter a monastery in 724. Imprisoned by Drust 726, returned (see below) in 728 and died in 732.)
Drest et Elpin con(g)regnaverunt v. annis.	Drust and Alpín reigned together 5 years.	(According to the Irish Annals, Drust reigned 724-726, when he was expelled and replaced by Alpín. In 727 Drust attempted to regain the crown, but was defeated in 3 battles. In 728 Alpín, Angus and Nechtan fought another civil war, Angus was victorious in 729, Alpín being killed in battle.)
